Chris Jeanneret

1st Year Radio

A graduate of Niagara's Broadcasting Program, Chris has carried many titles throughout his career: On-air Host, Production Manager, Music Director and Operations Manager are just a few. Chris continues to stay active in the industry and also freelances on occasion as the Font Co-ordinator (aka Stats Geek) for Buffalo Sabres broadcasts on the Madison Square Garden Network.

PROGRAM CO-ORDINATOR

This 1994 alumnus has over 20 years of experience from all sides of the business. His career has taken him from St. Catharines to Burlington, Toronto, Ottawa and back again. His titles have included Morning Show Producer, Promotions Director, Program Director and Operations Manager, just to name a few! He left radio in January of 2014 to teach our second and third year presentation students full-time.

Tom Otto

1st, 2nd and 3rd Year Radio

Tom has over twenty years of industry experience. Tom has worked as a morning News Anchor for The FAN 590, CHFI, EZ ROCK, and CISS FM. Hosting his own weekly television lifestyle show My Escape as well as Sports, Weather and Entertainment segments are also among his talents. A Niagara College alumnus, Tom now teaches Broadcast Journalism and 2nd year Radio Presentation.

During her career, Alysha has been a writer, producer and director and owned her own production company with broadcast and corporate clients. She is a graduate of Ryerson's Radio & Television Program and has a Bachelor of Education from Queen's University. In addition to her 1st year Television Production classes, Alysha also teaches in the Acting for Film and Television program.

Anthony (Twan) Savoia

A graduate of the BRTF program in 1987, "Twan" began his career working as a part-time video producer for the Peel Regional, Toronto and Niagara Regional Police Services. At the same time he attended Queen's University in Kingston to acquire teaching qualifications.

Peter is the owner of a television production company which produces shows for the Outdoor Life Network, Global Television and others. Peter brings 15 years of industry experience to the BRTF .

Bill Boehlen

Bill currently teaches audio and video production technology, production and videography. Prior to teaching at Niagara College, Bill worked in television production as a camera operator and editor. Bill continues to remain active in video production, having recently completed shooting and editing a short independent documentary. Bill has a degree in Communication Studies and a diploma in Electronics.

David Niven

David Niven

1st Year Film

David is a graduate of York University and brings to Niagara College the experience of many years of work in the Canadian film industry. He has worked on projects as varied as IMAX productions, features and television series, commercials and documentary films. David remains active in the industry and is an Executive Board member of IATSE 667 International Cinematographers Guild. David teaches first year film production.

James Crowe

James Crowe

2nd Year Film

A cameraman with 35 plus years of experience, James has shot in most all film and video formats with the exception of IMAX.
He is an active member of IATSE 667 and the CSC and has shot his way through network television into documentaries and drama. Fashion and Publicity filming has also been part of James’ experience as well. He has shot two Genie award winning films as well as achieving an award for Best Documentary cinematography from the CSC. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from York University.
